The following are the policy and investigation manuals from each of the Executive Inspectors General.
These manuals outline the policies and procedures used by the Executive Inspectors General when conducting investigations of allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, misconduct, nonfeasance, misfeasance, malfeasance, or violations of the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act or other related laws and rules. The Executive Ethics Commission is required to publish these manuals. (5 ILCS 430/20-15)
