OEIG Investigative Reports
The following are the investigative reports issued by Executive Inspectors General that have been approved for publication by the Executive Ethics Commission.
An investigative report documents the allegations of wrongdoing, the facts confirmed by the investigation, an analysis of the facts as compared to the applicable law, rule, or policy, and makes findings and recommendations. The Executive Ethics Commission determines whether an investigative report will be made public and determines any redactions to the report. If a report resulted in a suspension of three or more days or termination of employment, publication is mandatory. For all other reports, publication is discretionary. (5 ILCS 430/20-52)
